SUNCOASTERS CELEBRATED THEIR 50th + 6 BIRTHDAY MAY 2026.
The Sunshine Coast Square Dance Centre regularly hosts special events with a variety of local, interstate, and international Callers and Cuers who provide exciting dancing for all levels from Mainstream, through Plus.
Dancers come from all over Australia, and even some from overseas, thereby ensuring a good number of squares and enjoyable dancing.
Members attended the 66th Australian National Square Dance Convention - Hobart, Tasmania, April/May 2026. Members are preparing to attend the Australian Cogging Convention in Burnie Tasmania September 2026, NSW State Convention in Bathurst September 2026, the Victorian State Convention March 2027, the Australian National Square Dance Convention Ballarat April 2027, the Qld State Convention Bundaberg August 2027 Australian National Conventions 2027, Bomaderry, NSW 2028, Mandurah WA 2029 and maybe venturing further afield to an American National in Florida 2028
